4 Bedrooms • 2 Bathrooms 2 Baths • Sleeps 1-10Welcome to Sweet Home Getaway! This is the perfect cabin for your next getaway vacation. It is perfect for a girls-escape-with-my-best-friends trip, a boys-just-wanna fish getaway, or a family vacation! This recently renovated single story 4-bedroom, 2 large bathroom cabin can sleep up to 10 people and has all the comforts of home, while letting you escape reality on the 3-acre property. It's freshly updated with hints of green that are modern, yet still provide that cabin-feel getaway. Spend your days exploring the town, enjoying the lakes, hitting the hiking trails, and visiting the wineries, breweries and wonderful places to eat and shop. Then enjoy your evenings looking up at the stars, sitting around the fire pit, taking a dip in the hot tub, and reconnecting with the family and friends you love!
Outside you will find things for the young, and young at heart. There is a fantastic NBA half-court basketball court to play some ball, ride scooters, or play 4 square. Those under the age of 12 will enjoy playing on the swing set or climbing dome. There are plenty of chairs and a table to enjoy lunches, snacks, and dinner outside. On the front side of the cabin you will find a huge covered porch that connects to the hot tub and steps down to the fire pit for hours of evening fun and relaxation. And the front of the house is so secluded from other cabins you can feel free to enjoy the hot tub and firepit without fear someone will see you. Since this property sits at the end of a road, there is plenty of space to run and play without concern of cars driving by; plus plenty of room for your boat and parking spaces for cars.
Inside you will find an updated cabin that feels like home. This getaway features plenty of home comforts such as wireless internet access, 5 flat-screen Smart TVs (one in each bedroom and one in the living room), and central air conditioning. It has 4 spacious bedrooms-1 king bedroom, 2 queen bedrooms, and 1 bunk bedroom that has 2 sets of bunk beds allowing up to 10 people to sleep comfortably. The kitchen is large and spacious for plenty of cooking and gathering, with a large pantry to store all your food, snacks, and drinks for your group. The bathrooms are large, one with a bathtub and the other with a stand-up shower.
Pets: Yes, we agree our dogs are part of the family too! We do accept pets but ask that you tell us about them first and get approval. There is a pet fee required. We do provide a dog bed for your four-legged friends and ask that you keep them off the furniture.
Location is the best. No really, it is! It’s in the middle of all the places you will be going. Only 4 miles South to local Grocery store and Wal-Mart (with a group up to 10 at the cabin visits to the grocery store happen often), 5 miles North to the new Casino (still under construction), 8 miles to Hochatown with shops, breweries, and the lake. If kayaking down the river is where you are going- 8 miles East to several local businesses (i.e. River Rats Kayak Rental). If it's the wineries you want to check out, only 4.4 miles to FishTale's, 7.9 miles to Girls Gone Wild and Vojai's. Close to fishing and golf course. When it’s check out day, this location allows you to get on the road fast….no sitting in Hochatown traffic trying to turn left when everyone else is trying to leave too! Also, we are on 3.5 acres and the back of the cabin (where basketball court) sits close to the property line. Through the trees you may be able to hear or see other cabins. On the front side of the cabin where the hot tub and fire pit are located is where most of the land for the property is, and you will not see any cabins or have cabin noise from that direction. Sweet Home Road and Hwy 259 are about 1/2 mile away so you may hear road noise from cars.
We would love to host you in Sweet Home Getaway and know this will be the perfect place for your group to enjoy time together visiting, reconnecting, and relaxing.
About the Owner
While Broken Bow is known for its cute romantic small cabin getaways, we know families like to travel to the area too. I learned about Broken Bow from my sister and brother-in-law who have vacationed here for the past 6+ years. My husband and I vacationed here with them in 2019. That’s when I fell in love with this quaint little town that offered the activities people love to do: hiking, water activities, and great food, wineries, and breweries. I decided to purchase a larger cabin because when our families travel together we can fill up a place fast! We chose this cabin because we want a place family and friends can vacation together, feel at home and make memories.Amenities
